The Tabi variety was developed by Cenicafé - Colombia's national coffee research institute - over a period of 40 years to combat disease and increase yield for farmers. It is a result of cross-breeding Typica, Bourbon & Timor varietals, and was first produced commercially in 2002. Ricardo Montano has showcased the true potential of Tabi coffees with this year's harvest. It is a clean cup bursting with sweetness and a creamy mouthfeel.
Suitable for espresso and filter brewing. Best served black. Enjoy within four weeks of roast date.
